Our services across Cumbria are provided by staff and volunteers who have lived experience of drug and/or alcohol use.

We support people who are 18 years old or older who live in Cumbria.

We have services in Penrith, Carlisle, Barrow-in-Furness, Whitehaven, Workington, and Kendal. You can learn more about our hubs and where to find them on our locations page.

The support we offer includes:

  • Health and wellbeing service, including clinical and harm reduction services.
  • Individual Placement and Support (IPS) specialists to help with employment.
  • Access to work and skills opportunities through MoreTime, our social enterprise.
  • Support to find and secure suitable housing and prevent homelessness.

We know that everyone is different, so when you visit our service, you’ll be allocated a member of the team who will work with you to develop your own individual recovery plan.

How can you get support?

People can refer themselves to our services, or they can be referred by someone else such as a friend, family member, carer or professional.

Everyone who is referred to our services will speak directly with an experienced staff member to help understand the best way to support them.
